During the small turn, your car will be checked on the most important points. Among other things, we change the engine oil, replace the oil filter and top up the windshield washer fluid. Afterwards you will receive the inspection form from us. This way you always and everywhere have insight into the current technical condition of your car.
Why a little turn?
The manufacturer of your car prescribes that you have regular maintenance carried out on your car. This way the car continues to drive safely and any wear and tear is identified and remedied in time. This can save you suffering in the future, as broken parts can cause even more damage to your car.
When does my car need a service?
Keep to the following maintenance schedule for the small service:
Do you drive an older car (6-7 years or older)? Then a small service is required annually or after every 15,000 kilometers.
Do you drive a newer car (less than 6 years old)? Then a message will usually appear on your dashboard when it is time for a (minor) maintenance.
What is the difference between the MOT, small service and major service?
The APK is an annual mandatory inspection, the small service falls under standard maintenance of your car. Just like the big turn, this one is much more extensive and includes different (and more) checkpoints than the small turn.
Maintenance points small turn
Our mechanic checks your car on the most important points during the small service. The minor maintenance is done on the basis of a checklist. This checklist includes the following items:
- oil change
- Replace oil filter
- Refill windshield washer fluid
- Read vehicle fault codes
- Battery check with report
- Tire inspection
- Check the operation of the air conditioning system
- 15 additional inspection items
- Complete inspection summary
During the inspection, the technician may see that certain parts need to be replaced. Then you will always receive a quotation first, so you will never be faced with surprises.
